I stayed for a few nights while exploring the city, and I was pleasantly surprised by so many features. The modern and bright rooms offered excellent comfort, and I loved the indoor and outdoor Japanese bath. Breakfast was a highlight, with a fantastic buffet full of local dishes, including the chance to grill your own food. The location was ideal, surrounded by restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. The staff were friendly, and the cleanliness of the hotel was impressive.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

I appreciated climate control, multi-channel TV, and a refrigerator in the brand-new and exceptionally clean room. Location: the hotel was close to the big bus station, trams, bus stops and shops and the centre of town. I visited Fukuizumi Shin Shigai, based next to the venue, had dinner there: D

I had an awesome stay here! The location is super convenient, right in the heart of the shopping district, with easy access to public transit. The breakfast was a highlight-so many tasty options, and I loved trying the local specialty! Plus, the public onsen was perfect, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring.
The room was a bit smaller than I expected, so there wasn't much space for my suitcase. the public bath can get busy with both hotel guests and locals, which can be a little inconvenient. But overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely return!

I had a great time ringing in the New Year at this hotel! The location was super convenient, with the castle just a short walk away and plenty of cool restaurants and bars around. The public bath was a nice treat, even if I didn't get to try it. Everything was spotless, and the staff went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. Plus, the breakfast was delicious and set me up for the day!
On the flip side, the rooms were pretty small, which caught me off guard. They were well-organized, but it felt a bit tight for two people. The public bath also got really busy, making it harder to enjoy. Still, I guess you can’t have it all in such a prime location!

We had an amazing stay with great value for our money, as the room was modern, clean, and cozy. The location is perfect, surrounded by tons of shops and restaurants, and the staff were really nice too accommodate us.
The food for breakfast could use more variety in Western options.

The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the city, near many shopping areas and restaurants. I enjoyed the convenient access to popular stores like Daiso and Don Quijote just around the corner. Plus, the facilities were excellent, with both indoor and outdoor hot springs, perfect for relaxation after a busy day. The staff were accommodating and even offered complimentary drinks during the evening.
The laundry facilities were useful, but the machines could be a bit outdated.

great location, but room could use more amenities
The hotel had an excellent location with many shopping areas and eateries nearby. Our room was clean and spacious, a refreshing experience for a Japanese hotel. The garden view added a lovely touch to our stay.

The location provided easy access to numerous shops and restaurants, contributing to a good stay. Enjoyed the cleanliness and layout of the room, made good use of the space. The breakfast options were predominantly Asian, and the response to a simple egg request was inflexible, requiring me to seek breakfast elsewhere at an additional cost. The onsen's tattoo policy was a disappointment, limiting its appeal.

Couples looking for a modern retreat
The breakfast was good,, with local specialties like Aso milk and even sochu for breakfast, a pleasant surprise. Plus, the staff were polite and even spoke simple English.
It wasn't cheap,, but honestly, it was still acceptable for what we got.
